Alice Faye Patterson age 74 of Columbus, died Saturday November 25, 2023, at her sister’s residence with her loved ones at her bedside. A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel 716 2nd Ave N. with Bro. John Taylor and Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating; burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Miss Patterson was born in Columbus on October 14, 1949, to the late Troy Leon Patterson and Margaret Duncan Patterson. She was a graduate of New Hope High School and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. After graduation she began working as a daycare employee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Sue Patterson.

Nephew: Chad Hines, Niece: Laura Hines, and friend Julie Everhart
Serving as pallbearers will be Wes Barrett, Andy Caldwell, Buddy Henry, Anthony Fulgham, Rice Glover, Kent Mason, Terry Fitch, Brian Hollis, and Jake Hollis.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Alnas and staff, Chemo Girls of Columbus, and Legacy Hospice of Starkville
