James Albert "Jimmy" Dale III age 71, formerly of Columbus, MS, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his daughter's residence in Leesburg, VA. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Dale was born on Friday, September 13, 1940 in Columbus, to the late James Albert and Mabel Dale. He was a graduate of Lee High School and received BS and Doctorate of Law Degrees from the University of Mississippi. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and an extraordinary friend. Survivors include his wife Morea Dale, Ormond Beach, FL ;two daughters Caroline Smith, Meridian, MS and Anne Elizabeth Meyers (Mark), Leesburg, VA ;one son James Albert "Jim" Dale, IV, Columbus, MS; one sister Anita Honeycutt, Meridian, MS; two brothers Charlie Dale (Marynell)and Johnny Dale (Diann), all of Columbus, MS; two grandchildren Justin Meyers, also an Ole Miss graduate and Savanah Smith.
