BETTYE SUE WINGATE Bettye Sue Fulton Wingate, age 94, of Crystal Springs, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazelhurst, MS. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. James Shull officiating and Memorial Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Wingate was born October 25, 1918, in Philadelphia, MS, to the late William Thomas and Bessie Taylor Fulton. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal Springs, MS, and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow "Woody" Harold Wingate of Columbus, brother, Taylor Fulton, and sister, Martha Fulton Harris. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Wingate Shull and her husband Jim of Crystal Springs, MS, brother, William Thomas Fulton of Flora/Philadelphia, MS, sister, Edith Fulton Johnson of Union, MS, granddaughter, Katie Shull Brunone and her husband Peter of Allen, TX, grandson, Jonathan Wingate Shull and his wife Gretchen of Jackson, MS, and great grandchildren, Ellie Brunone, Sarah Brunone, Matthew Brunone, Tate Shull, and Worth Shull. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal Springs, 316 E. Marion Ave., Crystal Springs, MS, 39059.
