ROBERT BALLENTINE Claude Robert Ballentine, age 54, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 10, 2013, at his residence. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time at Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Ballentine was born April 9, 1958, in Hot Springs, AR, to the late Claude Lawrence and Mamie Ruth Walters Ballentine, Jr. He worked for many years as a commercial roofer in construction and was an avid Saints fan. Survivors include his sons, Marc Ballentine and Jared Ballentine of Columbia, SC, and brothers, Mike Dito of Columbus, MS, and Raymond Dito of St. Petersburg, FL. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
