Watt McLellan Brock, Sr. Columbus, Mississippi - Watt McClellan Brock, Sr. 85, died August 8, 2005, at his Home in Columbus, Mississippi. Mr. Brock was born September 25, 1919, in Holmes County, MS, the son of the late: Edmund and Rosa McLellan Brock. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Columbus, MS. He was a retired insurance manager with Life Insurance Company of Georgia. He was a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was Past President of Lowndes County Wildlife Federation. He was past member of the Lions Club. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, and wood worker. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11, 2005, at 10:00 AM from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Shawn Parker and assisted by Mr. Doug Crowe officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Wife: Edith Elouise McBride Brock of Columbus, MS, 1 Daughter: Rose Brock Crowe and husband Doug of Columbus, MS 1 Son: Watt Brock, Jr. and wife Pam of Columbus, MS 6 Grandchildren: Tanya Garris, Teresa Rayer, Beth Thomas, Kimberly Brock, Edmund Brock, Kelly Justiss and 5 Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Brock, Bill Maddox, Edwin McBride, Bobby Grantham, Billy Ross, Randy Matthews, and Bob Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be F.C.
