Albert L. Gibson Age 87 February 12, 2008 at Olive Assisted Living in Oneonta, AL Graveside services will be held at Friendship Cemetery on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sammy Crawford Officiating Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Gibson was born on January 4, 1921 in Lowndes County to the late Linwood and Lida Lollar Gibson. He was retired locomotive carpenter for C & G Railroad, and a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Kathryn Faith Freda, his sister Zelpher Lollar, and his brothers, James, Melvin, and Donald Gibson. survivors include: Wife-Earline M. Gibson of Oneonta, Ala. Daughter-Linda Latta of Oneonta, Ala. Sister-Lois McCullough (Doyle) of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Dot Beatty of West Point, Miss.
