Luetrell Alexander Davis age 83 died Sunday, July 04, 2010 at Infinity Hospice in Marion MS. Services will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Yarber officiating. Burial will follow at X-Prairie Cemetery near Macon MS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Mrs. Davis was born on Thursday, March 03, 1927 in Ocilla, GA to the late Wilbur and Alice Mae Gibbs Alexander. Mrs. Davis was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She along with her late husband were longtime caretakers of Camp Pratt and Lake Norris. She loved playing tennis, was an avid gardener and was a retired employee of American Bosch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Wilbur Davis, her daughter and son-in-law Betty Jean and Charles Thornton, and her siblings, Mamie Pearson, Arlie Bishop, Nina Lee Purvis, Frances Mae Alexander, and Henry Lloyd Alexander.
