ED FORD And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans; 8:28 On Sunday evening May 1, 2011 Ed Ford passed from this earth to his glorious final home, a special place beside our Lord and Savior. Ed was a kind, gentle, loving man, devoted to family and friends. He did not know the word no and was there to help anyone and everyone who might need him. He was a member of East End Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and for many years owned and operated Triangle Check Cashing, and The Dixieland Restaurant. Services will be held Wednesday May 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from noon until service time. He is survived by his loving family; Whitney Ford, Biddy Ford, Patti Boyles, Martha Sadler, and Don Harrison. Pallbearers will be Jeff Caldwell, Andy Reynolds, Nelson James, Wayne Jourdan, John Murphy, and Chuck Younger.
