Juanita Alston

March 3, 1913 — September 21, 2007

Juanita Yarbrough Alston of Satellite Beach, Florida died Friday September 21 at the age of 94. Born in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi, she married Bob Alston in 1933 and resided in Meridian, Mississippi, Mobile, Alabama, (Brookley Field), and Toyko, Japan before moving to Patrick Air Force Base in 1953. When "Colonel Bob" retired from the Air Force (and went to work for Pan Am) in 1967, they built a home in Satellite Beach where she continued to live independently for seventeen years after Bob's passing in 1990. Graveside services will be held Saturday September 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Ron McDougald officiating. survivors include: Son-Robert Phillip Alston Jr. daughter-in-law-Elizabeth Jobes Alston Grandchild-Robert P.
