Mark Douglas Thompson age 43 died Sunday, January 09, 2011 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian MS. Services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery . Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mark was born on Wednesday, January 11, 1967 in Columbus, MS to the Roy Thompson and the late Charlotte Loy Thompson. He was a 1986 graduate of New Hope High School. He was the owner of Shipley's Donuts.

Survivors include his Friend Amanda Pevey of Columbus, MS; his daughters Tiffany Thompson and Kelli Thompson, his son Jacob Thompson, his father Roy Thompson, his brother Adam Thompson, all of Columbus, MS.

Pallbearers will be Carl Kemp, Billy Woods, Tommy Cowart, Barry Goode, Calen Atkins, and Randy Karg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Jason Dunn, and the staff of the Dialysis Clinic of Columbus
