Mr. Benjamin Jay Harris, 46, of Columbus, Miss., died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at his residence in Columbus, Miss. Services are Friday February 23, 2007 at 11:00 am at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Robert Dole officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Benjamin was born on March 24, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Mr. Gilliam S. Harris and Mrs. Patricia N. Harris. Mr. Harris was employed by Ceco Manufacturing as an Electrician and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and tennis player. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marguerite Harris in 1993, and his brother Joel Harris in 1980. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Sister, Karen Tullos (Max) of Jackson, MS; Sister, Susan Ward (Dr. John Ward) of Birmingham, Al; Brother, John Harris (Carolyn) of Ridgeland, Ms; niece, Sims Tullos; nephews, Max Tullos, III, Matthew Harris (Allyson), James Harris, Andrew Harris, Peer Ward, and Thomas Ward. Pallbearers will be Glenn Lautzenhiser, Jeff Horton, Ernie Smith, Stan Wheeler, Andy Milstead, Kevin Watson, and Ernest Campbell
