WILLIAM C. EDMONSON William Clifton Edmonson age 78 died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his residence in Louisville MS. Services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Inge Halbert officiating, burial will follow at Lynns Creek Cemetery in Noxubee County . Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Edmonson also known as Billy, William, Ed, Daddy, Papaw, and Paps was born on Sunday, November 01, 1931 in Pheba, MS to the late William Dalton and Flora Duke Edmonson Sr. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, worked in the construction and the woodworking business. He also owned and operated Capital Woodworks in Columbus, building and installing custom cabinets for many years before retiring. He then moved to Pigeon Forge, TN, to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains. In 2007 he moved back to Louisville, MS where he resided until his death. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, and Dalton Jr. Survivors include: His wife of 54 years: Barbara Jean Abrams Edmonson, Louisville MS Two Daughters: Bobbie McDill (Dale), Columbus, MS Shelia Head (Willard), Columbus, MS One Son: William Randall "Randy" Edmonson (Rhonda), Louisville, MS One Sister: Jessie Beauregard, San Diego, CA One Brother: John Edmonson, Charlotte, NC Five Grandchildren: Jessica Edmonson Randall Edmonson Christopher Edmonson Jack Edmonson Dallas Stratton Two Great Grandchildren: Makaya Edmonson Jeremy Edmonson The Pallbearers will be: Randall Edmonson, Christopher Edmonson, Jack Edmonson, Perry Unruh, Barry Unruh Gary Moore, and Gary Bell In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lynns Creek Cemetery Fund % Randy Edmonson 300 Whitehead Hwy 397 Road Louisville, MS 39339 or Donor's Choice
