MIKE MURRAY
Michael Reid Murray age 70 died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Woodstock, AL. Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Wes Brown officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Mr. Murray was born on Thursday, November 25, 1943 in Columbus, MS, to the late L. E. and Willeen Reid Murray. He was a member of North Bibb Church of Christ and a 1961 graduate of S.D. Lee High School. He was in sales at Premiere Chevrolet in Bessemer, AL, and was an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, a ham radio operator, a Crimson Tide fan, and a member of the Single-Action Shooting Society. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Murray.
