LAURIE COX BARBER Laurie Waring Cox Barber, Age 104, died April 24, 2009 at Trinity Healthcare Center in Columbus. Graveside services will be held at Friendship Cemetery on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Sam Morris and Rev. Ron McDougald officiating and Memorial Funeral Home in charge of her arrangements. Mrs. Barber was born on June 27, 1904 in Columbus to the late William Edmond and Elizabeth Harris Waring. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Daughter-Laurie Cox Hemphill (Fred) of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and all of her friends at Trinity Healthcare.
