VERNIE LEE COLEMAN Vernie Lee Coleman Age 93 died January 21, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Doug Bedgood Officiating Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mrs. Coleman was born on April 14, 1913 in Pickens County Alabama to the late Andrew Lee Clemmons and late Frances Elizabeth Logan Clemmons. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, a former seamstress at Seminole Manufacturing and a homemaker. She was a graduate of Liberty High School in Pickens County where see she was the recipent of the Best Conduct Award. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marler Coleman, her son Millard Coleman, sisters Laura Clemmons, Willie Mae Holley, and brother Clyde Clemmons. suvivors include her: Daughter-Elizabeth Spencer of Columbus, Miss. Son-Albert Coleman (Betty) of Columbus, Miss. Son-Carl Coleman (Tina) of Columbus, Miss. daughter-in-law-Barbara Coleman of Columbus, Miss. Brother-Boyd Clemmons of Millport, Ala.
