Wayne H. Hall, Jr. died July 23, 2010 at Trinity Healthcare Center in Columbus, MS. Graveside services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Brandon, MS, Monday, July 26 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron McDougal officiating. Mr. Hall was born December 8, 1917 in Clinton, MS, and lived in Jackson, until he relocated to Columbus, MS in 2005. He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. He enjoyed skeet shooting and was a charter member of the Jackson Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching all sports. He also enjoyed his yard work; after retiring from Western Auto, he maintained his and his neighbors yards until age 85. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Beatrice Hall; his sons Jerry Hall and Roger Hall (Penny); and two sisters, Sara Edwards and Alice Little. He is survived by his sons, Wayne (Sonny) Hall, III, Raymond, MS; Dennis Hall (Diane), Meridian, MS; and daughter, Renee Gibbons (John), Columbus, MS. He has 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Trinity Healthcare Center, Baptist Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, and Dr. Naseer Khan.
