Dorothy W. Richards, 87, a long-time resident of Columbus, died Friday February 26, 2010 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is survived by daughters Anne (Randy) Dennis of Starkville; Mary Elizabeth (Tom) Beu of Chattanooga; and grandchildren John Beu of Chattanooga, Richard Beu of New Orleans, and Elizabeth Beu of Tallahassee, Florida. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 on March 13 at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will begin at 10:00 at Memorial Funeral Home, 716 2nd Ave N. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Palmer Home for Children in Columbus or the Trotter Scholarship Fund, St Pauls Episcopal Church, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
