Frances Fuqua Sudduth, age 88, of Columbus, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Healthcare " Golden Triangle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM . Burial will immediately follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The daughter of the late Alfred Judson and Velma Irene Brown Fuqua, Mrs. Sudduth was born July 27, 1923 in Caledonia, MS. A homemaker, she was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she had been very active in the various ministries of her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law Mildred F.and Bill Chinnis and her husband Walker Hamilton Sudduth, who died in 1996. She is survived by her son James A. Sudduth (Suzie) of Sturgis, MS and her daughters Donna S. Thompson of Tulsa, OK, Sue S. Yoder (Dwayne) of Perry, GA and Becky S. Rivers (Ron) of Columbus, and her sister Dorothy F. Hughes (Lowell) of Columbus. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren Teresa Wilson, Stephanie Robinson, Billy Yoder, James Yoder, Shawn Sudduth, Brad Sudduth, Charrisa Erickson, Joseph Bealis, Will McReynolds, Beth Rivers and Luke Rivers; 15 great grandchildren Rebecca Robinson, Megan Robinson, Matthew Wilson, Bethany Wilson, Chelsea Wilson, Eric Sudduth, Marc Sudduth, Luke Sudduth, Nick Sudduth, Toby Sudduth, Hannah Sudduth, Benjhamin Sudduth, Brooklyn Bealis, McKenzi Bealis and Ivy Yoder and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Will McReynolds, Luke Rivers, Shawn Sudduth, Brad Sudduth, Joseph Bealis and Tommy Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 16 Northtown Drive, Jackson, MS 39211 or to the donors favorite charity.
