DEWEY L. PRICE Dewey L. Price age 85 died Friday, January 17, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Lammons officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Price was born on Friday, July 13, 1928 in Birmingham, AL to the late James C. and Minnie Ilah Wright Price. He was a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He loves wrestling, football, and anything he could do outside. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ressie Lee Price. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Brenda Barksdale (Roy), Columbus, MS Ruth White (Mickey), Van Cleve, MS One Son: James Price (Karen), Columbus, MS One Sister: Kathleen Roberts, Rockwall, TX Eight Grand Children: Scotty Richards Kevin Richards Michele Lackey Brian Barksdale Chris Price Tony Price Duston Price Chad Price 14 Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Brittany, Wyatt, Jenna, Lukas, Caleb, Colby, Blaine, Kelby, Ally, Collins, Zoey, Mitchele, and Gabbi Grandsons will serve as pallbearers The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dawn Jewell, Tasha Watts, Penny Butler.
