DOLLY N. AVERY Dolly Nedira Avery, Age 83, died Thursday June 19, 2008 at Thibodaux Regional Hospital in Thibodaux, LA. Graveside services will be held at Christian Union Cemetery near Tuscaloosa ,AL on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Joel Wayne Ryland Officiating. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Avery was born on January 29, 1925 in Peterson, Alabama to the late Richard L. and Pearlie Mae Oates Davis. She was a resident of the Steens Community of Lowndes County and loved animals, cooking, and gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Avery. Survivors include: Daughter-Jeanette Rager of Vacherie, La. Son-Ronald Ryland (Derendia) of Artesia, Miss. Son-Joel Wayne Ryland (Janice) of Columbus, Miss. Son-Wade Ryland of Steens, Miss. Brother-Richard L. Davis, Jr. of Columbus, Miss. 14-Grandchildren, 15-Great grandchildren,and 11-Great Great Grandchildren. Friends & And Family will serve as pallbearers.
