Charles Craddock "Charlie" Boyd Columbus Mississippi - Charles Craddock "Charlie" Boyd 66 died November 6, 2005 at his residencein Columbus. Mr. Boyd was born on November 26, 1938 in Columbus to the late George P. and Lady Dare Griffin Boyd Sr. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and a graduate of S.D. Lee High School and Mississippi State University. He was retired from WTVA as a sales rep after over 20 years. He was an avid tennis player and fisherman and loved music. Funeral services will be Tuesday November 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. with the Rev. Wayne Bruchey officiating. Visitation will be noon unitl service time at the church. Survivors include Wife wife of 49 years Bonnie Jean Boyd of Columbus MS, Daughters: Martha Katherine Dowdle (Mike) of Jacksonville FL, Libba Andrews (Andy) of Starkville MS. Son: Andy Boyd (Sherry) of Columbus MS. Grandchildren: Lee Boyd, Russell Boyd, Landon Boyd, Josh Dowdle U.S. Army National Guard serving in Afganistan and Maggie Dowdle. Brothers: George P. "Juddie" Boyd (June) of Columbus MS, Trooper Boyd (Vickie) of Chattanooga TN, Lindley Boyd (Karen) of Columbus MS. Pallbearers will be Jim Davis, Lindley Boyd Jr., Trooper Boyd, Frank Griffin, Miller Griffin, John Bailey Hardy, Butch Dollar, Doug Wheeler, Mark Ford, Earl Pace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Whitecar and Staff, Bruce Lacey, Bill Gavin, Bobby Grondin, Dr. A. Robert Dill, Ray McIntyre, Dan Sisson.
