Golda LaRue Davis Age 90 died October 26, 2006 at The Arrington in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Larry Ferguson Officiating burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Mrs. Davis was born in Winona MO on December 27, 1915 to the late William and Lois La Rue. She and her the late husband Homer Davis were owners of Davis Lumber Company. She was an active member of First Christian Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed crafts, arranging flowers and travel. She was a member of the Fun Bunch. She was secretary for the Ladies Aid for 19 years. Survivors include: Daughter-Billie Currie (Richard) of Huntsville, Ala. Daughter-Pattie Swendenburg (Lex) of Columbus, Miss.
