DOT SIMPSON Dorothy Harris "Dot" Simpson Age 74 died March 21, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM with Russell Brown and Junior Eads Officiating burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, March 23, 2008 from1:30 until service time. Mrs. Simpson was born on March 30, 1933 in Clay County to the late Robert E. and Velma McCool Harris. She was a long-time member of Antioch Baptist Church and in recent years and up til her death was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. Although she gave birth to no children, she touched many lives over the 40 years she took care of little ones in the Antioch church nursery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband James Sanders and her 2nd husband Page Simpson. survivors include: Brother-Robert E. Simpson, Jr. of Charleston, S.C. Brother-Roy Lee Harris of Columbus, Miss. Brother-Jerry Harris of Columbus, Miss. Brother-Thomas "Sam" Harris of Columbus, Miss. Brother-Charles "Dee" Harris of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Peggy Harris of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Joyce Eads of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Elaine Thompson of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Linda "Cissy" Moore of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Brenda Collins of Starkville, Miss. She is also survived by the many nieces and nephews that will miss their Aunt Dot, and her many friends and neighbors at Eastbrook Apartments where she was a resident for the past 5 years. Nephews will serve As pallbearers Honorary Pallbearers-Dr. Brad Brown Honorary Pallbearers-Staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Beasley Honorary Pallbearers-Gilbert's Home Health
