LOIS LANE PAT COX Lois Lane "Pat" Cox age 63 passed away from this earth to enter into a world that we can only imagine September 30, 2006, to be with all the loved ones that she loved so dearly who have gone before her. She took the hands of Jesus Christ who lead her to see her beloved son Samuel David Cox she missed so deeply. Pat was born on November 23, 1942 in Hamilton MS to the late Bessie Magee Frye Williams and the late Ben Frye. She lived in Columbus most of her life where she was the owner and operator of the Magic Mirror Beauty Shop for 30 years. in addition to her son and parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Ernest Mason Sr. and Ray Frye and her twin baby sister Elois Frye. Pat was an active member of Southside Baptist in her earlier years and attended McBee Baptist Church for many years. She loved Jesus Christ with all her heart and had faith that he would take care of her when the time came. Pat will be best remembered for her career as a beautician and the loss of her son. Without the love and support of her wonderful husband the strength of her daughter, and the love for her only granddaughter she could not have had the courage to try to fight her battle with cancer. She also cherished the love and support of her extended family and friends and her son-in-law Scott who she loved with all her heart. . Service will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Ray Officiating burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, October 2, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Husband-Dan Cox of Columbus, Miss.
