Vernon AL - Minnie Lee Sides 60 died May 11, 2006 at Fayette Medical Center,Fayette Alabama. Ms Sides was born on March 9, 1946 in Columbus MS to the late Lawrence Martin and Sallie A. Willliams Phelps. She attended the First United Pentecostal Church in Hightogy and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be Sunday May 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Gardner officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include her companion William "Bill" Langford of Vernon AL; Daughters: Edna "Sissy" Williams of Water Valley MS, Cindy Edwards (Anthony) of Vernon AL, Sandy Trusty (David) of Grenada MS, Crystal Langford of Vernon AL; Sons: Jimmy Wayne Sides of Drew MS, Lawrence Martin Sides (Becky) of West Point MS, Timothy Phelps Sides of Caledonia MS, Joe Hopkins (Tammy) of Oxford MS, James Hopkins of Drew MS, Alex Sides of Vernon AL, Aaron Sides of Vernon AL, Rocky Sides of Vernon AL; 27 Grandchildren: 2 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Alice Ryans of Red Bay AL, Mary Phelps of Navarre FL, Nell Daniels of Sweet Water TN, Ann Bowman of Minnesota; and Brothers: Wallace Phelps of Millport AL, Walter Phelps of Navarre FL, Pallbearers will be Allen Haynes, Michael Cantrell Jr., Lonnie Langford, Scott Pugh, Tony Edwards, and Lloyd Hendon. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Langford, Minnie Pearl Langford, Drs. and staff of Fayette Medical Center, Glenda Owens, Jasmine Langford, Karen Sides, and James "Bulldog" Wooten.
