OLLIE MAE HANSON Ollie Mae Hanson Age 91 died May 5, 2008 at Cherub's Personal Care Home. Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 1:30 PM until service time. Mrs. Hanson was born on July 21, 1916 in Monroe County MS to the late Charlie Dred and Mamie Myers Howell. She was a Methodist, a homemaker, and had lived in Lowndes County since 1975. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J.A. Hanson who developed the Nashville Ferry area in the late 40's and early 50's and one son James Howell Hanson. survivors include: daughter-in-law-Louise Smith Hanson of Amory, Miss. Grandchildren -Mike Hanson (Lynn) of Columbus, Miss. -Becky Hanson Simpson (George) of Birmingham, Ala. -Liz Hanson Holloway of Amory, Miss. Great grandchildren -Matthew Hanson -Blake Hanson -Jacob Hanson -Jonathan Holloway -Michael Holloway -Bethany Simpson -Clint Simpson (Ruth) Great Great Grandchildren -Abagail Simpson -Tyler Simpson and the loving and caring staff of Cherub's Assisted Living Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church 125 Yorkville Road Columbus, MS 39702
