ZERELDA "ZEE" THOMPSON Zerelda "Zee" Mims Thompson Age 67 died peacefully March 3, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ron McDougald Officiating Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs.Thompson, a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, was born on December 29, 1941 in Columbus, to Robert L. and Virginia Sudduth Mims. She was a homemaker, a 1959 graduate of S.D. Lee High School and a 1962 graduate of Mississippi State College for Women. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 47 years, -Bobby Thompson of Columbus, Miss. Daughter -Lt Col (ret) Virginia Gail Swentkofske USAF of Atkins, TX and her husband Lt Col Mark Swentkofske USAF currently deployed to Iraq. Son -Donnie Thompson and his wife Tara of Macclenny, Fla. Sisters -Diane Mims Noffkee (Mark) of Virginia Beach, Va. -Pamela Mims Gammil (Robert) of Pontotoc, Miss. Brothers -Joe Ray Mims (Susie) of Columbus, Miss. -Paul Douglas Mims (Sandra) of Columbus, Miss.
