Loy Thompson
July 29, 1943 — September 1, 2009
Mrs. Thompson was born on Thursday, July 29, 1943 in West Blocton, AL to the late Earnest and Ethel Doss West. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a retired grocery store clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Scott Thompson, her infant daughter Amy Thompson, five brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband Roy Thompson, her sons Mark Douglas Thompson and Adam Roy Thompson (Jennifer), all of Columbus, MS; two sisters Geralene Barnes, Centerville, AL and Judy Kirby, Vernon, AL and a host of neices and nephews
The Pallbearers will be Daniel Elliott, Heath Elliott, Joy Elliott, David Wallace, Joan Wallace, and Gale Smith
