Johnny Wayne Cantrell, age 58, of Caledonia, MS, passed away December 31, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harding officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Cantrell was born November 11, 1954, in Caledonia, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Caledonia and was a Baptist. Mr. Cantrell was a retired electrician having worked a number of years for Johnston Tombigbee. Survivors include his wife, Becky Cantrell of Caledonia, MS, parents, Pete and Betty Jo Stockman Cantrell of Caledonia, MS, sons, Larry Ray Cantrell and his wife Sirena of Caledonia, MS, and Michael Cantrell and his wife Glenda of Vernon, AL, daughter, Christy Anita Batts and her husband Dwayne, of Ridgeland, MS, brothers, William Cantrell and his wife Denise of Vernon, AL, and Charlie Ray Cantrell of Caledonia, MS, sister, Carolyn Hollis and her husband Mike of Caledonia, MS, and grandchildren, Jayden Cantrell, Kaitlin Batts, Brody Parker, Aona Cantrell, Nevin Cantrell, and Katherine Batts. Pallbearers will be James Cantrell, Jason Humbers, Bryan Hall, Morris Cantrell, Wayne Cantrell, and William George, Jr.
