LILLIE FRANCES MANN PROVERBS 31 Mrs. Lillie Frances Graves Mann age 91 went to meet her Savior and Lord October 9, 2007. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Sammy Crawford Officiating Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Mrs. Mann was born in Medina TN on March 6, 1916 to the late W. Aubrey and Bessie Darety Graves. She had lived in Columbus for 62 years. She was an active member of the community participating in RSVP as a reading tutor in the elementary schools, a volunteer at the city library book sales a receptionist at the Chamber of Commerce, the hospitality greeters for the Columbus Pilgrimage, meals on wheels and other responsibilities as requested. When her children were in school she was always active as a homeroom mother and served as president of the Parent Teacher Association at Fairview Elementary. She was an active member of the Eastern Star Lodge #66, and served as various points of the star and as Worthy Matron from 1982 to 1983. For 15 years, she was a member of East End Baptist Church, where she served on the committee for establishing their mission church, Fairview Baptist. As a member of the committee she is a charter member of Fairview where she has been active in many areas of service. She was retired from Woolco Store where she was the manager of the Beauty Aid Department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Beatrice and Quida, and her brother Edgar. survivors include: Daughter-Joy Earlene Mohon (Troy) of Mountain Brook, Ala. Daughter-Nancy Gail Johnson (Tommy) of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Patsy Jean Weeks (Gerald) of Ocoee, Fla. Son-Paul David "Butch" Mann (Donna) of Columbus, Miss. Grandchild-David Kyle Mohon (Daphne) of Inverness, Ala. Grandchild-Chadwick Troy Mohon (Judy) of Irmo, S.C. Grandchild-Tommy Glenn Johnson, II (Kim) of Columbus, Miss. Grandchild-Louis Dale Johnson (Stephanie) of Columbus, Miss. Grandchild-Selby Glenn Weeks (Amy) of Ocoee, Fla. Grandchild-Brian David Mann of Columbus, Miss.
