In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Clyde Callahan Jr. and her step-mother Fannie Reed Callahan. Faye, Nana , was a special woman who touched everyones life in a very special way. She was someone that everyone could count on for anything. She never complained; she did everything she could for anybody with a smile on her face. She not only was reliable, but also a comforter. She had the most comforting smile and touch. If she ever touched you with her hands, she touched you with her heart. She also was a faithful, Christian woman and everyone knew it. If she was not at Church, everyone knew something was wrong. She not only showed her Christian faith by attending church but also in her everyday life. She was a great Christian example and everyone saw that. She also was the backbone for her family. She kept the family going strong and kept everyone straight. She kept in touch with her family daily. She always was the one to tell everyone else what the news was, even before the family knew it. She never met a stranger. She was the type of person everyone loved to be around. Every time she would go somewhere she would always see someone she knew, no matter where she went. Everyone loved Nana . The lesson we can learn from Nana is to do the little things. To sum it all up, she did the little things and was not selfish while doing them. She never was worried about herself, just about everyone else. This is what bonded her to everyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but if she were here, she would tell us to not be sad, but to be happy, because she is with her Saviour , walking hand in hand, touching His heart, just like she touched ours.
