BILL JONES William Phillip "Bill" Jones Age 87 died February 7, 2008 at Homeplace Assisted Living in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Minister Larry Ferguson Officiating burial will follow with military honors at Salem Cemetery near Macon MS Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 1:00 PM until service time. Mr. Jones was born on July 13, 1920 in Macon MS to the late George Phillip and Annie Matt Jackson Jones. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp serving as a pilot during WWII, and a former member of Columbus First Christian Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Helen Keeney Jones, his sister Nancy F. von Kohn and his brother-in-law John A.
