Mrs. Ethel Ann McKellar Williams, age 76, of Columbus died Friday, October 26, 2007 . Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation was Sunday, October 28 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Memorial. Her funeral service was held today at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Yarber officiating. Burial followed at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Lowndes County, Ms. Mrs. Williams was born in Columbus December 18, 1930 to the late Charlie A. and Mattie Vail Mckellar. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Sally Freeman Sunday School class. She retired from United Technologies after 32 years of employment. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Baptist Memorial for many years. A former member of the RSVP band, Mrs. Williams also enjoyed spending many hours tending her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claude Burton Williams, Jr. and four brothers ; Edward, Buck, J.W. and Charles McKellar. She is survived by daughters, Cindy Searcy(Elwyn) , Marietta, Ga.; Cheryl Buchanan ; son, Beau Williams(Lisa); brother William McKellar and sisters Jean Massey and Mary McCaleb, all of Columbus. She also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith Burchfield, David Minyard, Tony Silvestri, Johnny Brents, Andy Glenn, Chris Glenn and Clay Walters. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Ferguson, Johnny Mack McCrary, Dr. D.F. Sumrall and Lisa Younger Neese. Memorials may be made to Baptist Memorial Hospital GT Hospice, P.O.
