Virginia S. Dornan Columbus Mississippi - Virginia S. Dornan 86 died September 6, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mrs. Dornan was born in New Albany Mississippi on August 15, 1919 to the late Er M. and Lucille Wall Shelley. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Cherokee Garden Club. She was a graduate of S.D. Lee High and MSCW and was a elementary school teacher in the Columbus public school system for over 30 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Dornan Sr.. Funeral services will be Thursday September 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wayne Bruchey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Sons: Don Dornan of Biloxi MS, Shelley Dornan of Columbus MS, Grandchildren: Dianna Dornan of New York NY, Patrick Dornan Hattiesburg MS, Sam, Max, Shelley Clair, and Jamie Dornan all of Columbus. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jenny Mahoney, Laura Martin, Charles Youngblood, Harold Youngblood, Jon Fortman, Dr. John Whitecar, Dr. Buddy Livingston, Dr. Frank Dailey, Members of the Cherokee Garden Club.
