Mary Frances King Wingard, 74, of Columbus died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services, with Billy Ferguson officiating, will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow the service at Memorial Gardens. The daughter of the late Grady and Veola Bullard King, Mrs. Wingard was born October 22, 1936 in Lapine, AL. She was employed by Humboldt Products, which later became Western Textiles and retired after 28 years of employment. An avid bowler, she bowled weekly and was a member of several bowling teams. Mrs. Wingard was also a member of the Church of Christ of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Tommy and Rufus King, a sister Grace Martin and her husband Roy R. Wingard, who died April 13, 2000. Mrs. Wingard is survived by her son Gregory Allen Wingard of Columbus, her sister Betty Anderson (Andy) of Enterprise, AL, her grandchildren Sarah Candace Wingard and Joseph Michael Wingard, both of Columbus and Amy Katherine Bogan of Ocean Springs, MS and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Hargett, Joseph Wingard, Thomas McGahey and Nicholas Fields. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
