Marie Jones Marie Stillman Jones, age 85, died January 4, 2014, at her daughters home in Southaven, MS. Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church with Rev. Sandra DePriest officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service. Mrs Jones was born August 3, 1928, in St. Louis, MO to the late James Curtis and Mary Frances Reshaw Stillman. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Jones, Sr. She worked many years for TG & Y and then retired with 20 years of service at Freds. She graduated from High School in St. Louis, MO and attended MUW working on a nursing degree. Survivors include daughters, Sheila Paravate of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; Patricia Ross (Al) of Southhaven, MS; Kathy Waits (Raymond) of Marion, AR; sons, William Corky M. Jones, Jr. (Sabrina) and Richard Rick Jones (Pat) both of Columbus, MS; grandchildren, William Tracy Jones, Richard A. Jones, Susan Jones, Johathan Paravate, Gregory Jones, Steven Jones, Rachel Paravate, Keith Jones, Kimberly Estes Smith, Jamie Estes Barrymore, Johanna Paravate, Chris Paravate, Jennifer Rioux and Hailey Henderson; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Adele Hofmann of Columbus, MS; Laverne Kirkendall of South Lyons, Michigan and Lavonne Elias of St. Lois, MO. Pallbearers will be William Tracy Jones, Richard A. Jones, Gregory Jones, Steven Jones, Jonathan Paravate and Jason Paravate. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Smith and Brandon Berryman.
