Mr. Tedford was born on December 5, 1937 in Carbon Hill Alabama to the late Donald Gates and Hazel Pennington Tedford. He was a retired Machinist at Monroe Tufline. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary, his second wife Christine, his daughter Virginia, and three brothers David, James Roland, and Mack Tedford.. Funeral services will be Friday September 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Turner officiating. Visitation will be 6 until 9 Thursday September 15, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include Daughters: Donna Veazey of Columbus MS, Brooke Tedford of Columbus MS, Sons: Donald Herbert Tedford Jr. (Bonnie), Daniel Tedford, Douglas Tedford, Dennis Tedford, Josh Tedford, Zackary Tedford, and Austin Tedford all of Columbus MS. Grandchildren- PFC Trey Flora, Nicole Flora, Brittnay Veazey, Marilalys Crowe, Harley Tedford, Bidget Tedford, Daylin Strickland . Sister: Wanda Gay Goforth of Vernon AL. Brothers: J.L. Tedford of New York NY, Earl Tedford of Smithville MS.
