FELIX M. FANCHER, SR. Felix Mayfield Fancher, Sr. Age 87 died June 12, 2008 at Windsor Place Nursing Home in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:30 AM with Minister Billy Ferguson Officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Mr. Fancher was born November 20, 1920 in Columbus to the late John Virgil and Jessie Long Fancher. He was a member of the 7th Street Church of Columbus(Church of Christ of Columbus). A veteran of World War II, Mr. Fancher served in Italy in the Army/Air Corps as an airplane mechanic. He was employed with Sears, Roebuck & Co. as an appliance repairman for many years before starting his own appliance repair business. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bradshaw Fancher. survivors include: Wife-Christine (Stone) Fancher of Columbus, Miss. Son-Felix M. Fancher, Jr. (Debbie) of Columbus, Miss. Son-Glyn Fancher (Maggie) of Savannah, Ga. Brother-John V. Fancher of Columbus, Miss. Grandchild-Claire Robbins (Todd) of North Las Vegas, Nev. Grandchild-Alice Duett (Jeff) of Horn Lake, Miss. Grandchild-Amanda Flewallen(Al) of Recon, Ga.
