GIRLENE C. WILSON Girlene C. Wilson age 82 died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilson was born on Saturday, December 28, 1929 in Beaverton, Alabama to the late William A. and Maggie Minor Cantrell. She was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church in Beaverton, Alabama, and a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wilson, her sisters Geraldeen Cantrell Otts,and Mary Nell Cantrell and her brothers, Ollie, Leaton and OLin Cantrell. Survivors include: Her son and caregiver: Billy Wilson, Columbus, MS One Daughter: Patricia Lewis (Jerry), Hohenwald, TN One Sisters: Jewel Bolin (Harold), Hamilton, MS Two Brothers: Bobby Gene Cantrell, Beaverton, AL Ray Cantrell, Beaverton, AL One Grand Child: Corrie Brewer One Great Grand Child: Amber Holmes The Pallbearers will be: Jason Turner, Stephen Sims, Chris Alexander, George Lewis, Brad Alexander, and Terry Taylor The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Terry Taylor, Sr., Brian Hall, Matt Hall, Keith Simpson, Keith Winston, and Heath Simpson.
