Julia Alma McPherson Age 86 died January 26, 2009 at her son's residence in Rio Rancho, NM Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jerry Potter Officiating, burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 10:00 AM until service time. Mrs. McPherson was born on February 17, 1922 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Douglas Burin and Maude Wilkerson Johnson. She was a longtime resident of Lowndes County and a retired employee of United Technologies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Lee McPherson and two sons, Shon and Robert Burin "Ray" McPherson. Survivors include: Son-Jerry McPherson (Michelle) of Rio Rancho, NM Sisters -Arvillia Smith -Mary Rogers Brothers -Darnell Johnson -Walter "Buck" Johnson daughter-in-law -Julie M.
