BEN WILLIAMS Benjamin Allen Williams age 48 died Monday, April 09, 2012 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood MS. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Tom Bryson officiating. Ben was born on Saturday, March 28, 1964 in Columbus to Emma Shipman Williams and the late Howard Trusler Williams. Ben was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker/West Realty for several years and a member of the Columbus Board of Realtors. He was also employed in the restaurant business for many years. Ben was a loving uncle to his nephews. He was known for his generous heart and his charming ways by his friends and family. Survivors include: Mother: Emma Shipman Williams, Columbus, MS Two Sisters: Jane Williams Cox, Bay Saint Louis, MS Becky Williams, Columbus, MS His nephews, who will also serve as honorary pallbearers: Rollin Sloan, Shipman Sloan, Spencer Sloan, and Crofton Sloan, III, and honorary pallbearer Robbie Dollar He is also survived by his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Shipman; and many cousins who all loved him dearly.
