Lyda Faylene Faye Holley, age 84, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Healthcare " Golden Triangle in Columbus. Funeral /crematory arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Services, with Sewell Hall and Sid Latham officiating, will follow at 3:00 PM in the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. At her request, Mrs. Holley will be cremated after the service. The daughter of the late Percy and Effie Tubb Cagle, she was born September 23, 1927 in Mount Hope, AL. She moved form Birmingham, AL in 1968 and went to work for Columbus Urology Group, when it opened in 1969. She retired after 25 years of employment as the Office Manager at Columbus Urology. She also worked part-time at the Columbus Hospital and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Baptist Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of the East Columbus Church of Christ. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Tom and Veronica Holley and their children, Sewell and Elizabeth, all of Starkville, MS, her daughter Yolanda Holley of Columbus, MS , her sister Dorothy Todd of Bossier City, LA and her brother Willard Cagle of Reno, NV.
