Mrs. Elsie Gwen Belue, age 76, of Columbus, Miss., died Friday, November 10, 2006, at her residence. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, November 12, 2006. The funeral service will be at Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2006 , with Wes Brown and Joel Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Belue was born on August 10, 1930 in Alabama to the late Fletcher Smith and the late Ora Emma Bolton Smith. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, and Christian. Most importantly, she obeyed the gospel of Christ while in her teens and was faithful to Him throughout her life. She is survived by her husband Aubrey Belue along with her Daughters, Beth Belue of Columbus, Barbara Williamson (Alan) of Morgantown, WV, and Beverly Hamilton (Tim) of Athens, AL; son, Steve Belue (Beth) of Pensacola, Fl.; Ten grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ben Williamson, David Williamson, Michael Belue, Ore Jones, Gary Murray, and Adam Williamson.
