Jeffrey Howard "Jeff" Landon age 56 died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. Services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 6:00 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 27, 2009 at Silver Creek Cemetery in Jamestown Ohio. Jeff was born on March 10, 1953 in Amherst, OH to the late Howard Landon and Audrey Williams Landon. Jeff graduated from The Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelors Degree in Business and from the University of Dayton with an MBA. He and his wife Phyllis were married in Jamestown, Ohio August 18, 1979. He was a hard worker who always put his family first. He adored his best friend and wife, Phyllis. He had an unconditional love for his three children and loved spending time with them. He was a man of God whom loved Jesus above all else. He believed everything was a heart issue & he had a passion for changing hearts for Christ. Very important to him was his quiet time with God every morning. He had an insatiable love for learning; loving to read and listen to talk radio. He was an Independent who always loved to think out of the box. Everyone loved his sense of humor and he kept his friends and family laughing all the time. He enjoyed sports and attending games with his family. He had a passion for jogging and broccoli. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister Kimberley and brother Greg.
