Euva Watson Kilgo, age 96, of Columbus, Miss., died Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss. Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Sunday, October 28, 2007. Graveside services will be at Friendship Cemetery at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2007, with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. Interment will also be at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, Miss. Mrs. Kilgo had just celebrated her birthday with family and friends Tuesday, having been born October 23, 1911 in Eupora, Ms. to the late Harry Perry and Olivia Thornton Watson. She had been a resident of Columbus since 1945 and a member of Southside Baptist Church, until it ceased being a church. Mrs. Kilgo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Hubert Kilgo and three brothers. She is survived by three nieces : Geneva Watson Morris (John) , Seabrook, Tx; Alice Jane Hammitt (Ron), West Monroe, La; Judy Starks, Calhoun City, Ms; and a sister-in-law, Frances Watson, Calhoun City, Ms Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite Charity.
