James Michael Wallace Age 51 died June 23, 2007 at his Residence in Gretna, LA Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Mitchell Rushing Officiating Mike was born on March 27, 1956 in Columbus to Katherine Cochrane and the late James Wallace. He was a 1974 graduate of New Hope High School. While in school and afterwords he worked in his father's heating and air conditioning business, then the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and the Office Supply Company. Later he moved to New Orleans to attend welding school and became a master welder and fitter and worked on offshore riggs and various ships that came into dock. In addtion to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Terry Wallace. Survivors include: Mother-Katherine Cochrane (James) of Columbus, Miss.
