BILLIE RAY Willie Zora "Billie" Ray age 89 went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Community Hospice in Verona MS. Services will be held Friday, April 01, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Ferguson officiating, burial will follow at 5:00 p.m. Friday at Tupelo Memorial Park Tupelo MS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, April 01, 2011 from 12:00 noon until service time. Mrs. Ray was born on Sunday, October 30, 1921 in Dancy, MS to the late Grady Robert and Dollie Ozella Essary Cox. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Columbus Church of Christ. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Tupelo Light & Water Department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Halbert Ray Sr. Survivors include: One Son: James Halbert Ray, Jr. Two Grandchildren: Mary Suzanne Berry (George Robert), Madison, MS James H. Ray, III, Woodville, MS Four Great Grandchildren: Sgt. George Robert Berry Lake Berry Matthew Berry Christian Berry .
