Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Reed Clark, age 90, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the The Windsor Place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 PM in Memorial Chapel with Rev. Al Hamm officiating. Internment will be in Oak Limb Cemetery in Crawford, MS. The daughter of the late Willie and Tobithia Crocker Reed, Mrs. Clark was born October 16, 1923 in Mashulaville, MS. She married J. D. Clark on June 10, 1940 in Noxubee County, and they were married for 64 years prior to his death in October 2004. A devoted Mother to her five children, she was a life-long member of Crawford United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Randolph and James Reed and her sisters Susanne Miller and Lorene Barnett. Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Twila J. and Roy Whitehead of Columbus and Betty S. and Jim McGinley of Tuscaloosa, AL and her sons and daughters-in-law Aron and Libby Clark of Lynchburg, TN, Larry D. and Almarita Clark of West Point and Donnie and Cathy Clark of Portland, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dillon Beard, Dustin Vail, Patrick McGinley, Scott Kesler, Bobby Taylor, Scott Whitehead, Lobo Mondrongan and Johnny Tarlton.
