ERNEST COLLINS - Ernest Eugene "Spanky" Collins, age 55, of Red Bay, AL, formerly of Columbus, MS, died February 8, 2010, at Red Bay Hospital. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery with Rev. James Gardner officiating and Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will also be Saturday, February 13, 2010, one hour prior to the service at Living Faith Tabernacle Church. Mr. Collins was born July 24, 1954, in Columbus, MS, to the late Ernest and Veatrice Keller Collins. He was a graduate of Lee High School and worked for the Pepsi Cola Plant of Columbus for many years. Mr. Collins also worked at American Trouser for a number of years and was a member of United Ministries. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Collins. Survivors include his son, Clifford Collins of Columbus, and sister, Janice Rose of Columbus. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
