William J. Wade, Jr., age 88, of West Point, MS, passed away January 13, 2012, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Fuller officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS, with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2012, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Wade was born August 1, 1923, in McCool, MS, to the late William J. and Laura Carr Wade, Sr. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. Mr. Wade formerly owned and operated the Midway Inn and also owned and operated Caledonia Package Store. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Honeycutt Wade of West Point, MS, sons, William Jimmy Wade of Jasper, AL, and William Jody Wade, III, of Centerville, AL, nephew, John Ingram of Caledonia, MS, and 4 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sidney Yerby, John Ingram, Dennis Aldridge, Roger Long, Claude Bryant, and Clay Aldridge.
